Studio Policy :
Be on time
Lessons are taught on a weekly basis and students will have the same scheduled time each week. Every student is expected to arrive on time and if the student is running late, the lesson will still end at the scheduled time. Please arrive at least 5 minutes before the scheduled lesson begins.
Attendance
Consistent attendance will reflect a student's progress. Every student is expected to attend lessons as part of a weekly routine. However, if a scheduled lesson needs to be missed or rescheduled, please notify your teacher at least 24 hours in advance, otherwise the missed lesson will be charged and will not be eligible for a make up lesson.
Missed and Make-up Lessons
In case of an emergency, the student may cancel a lesson within 24 hours notice and can either make up this lesson or credit the lesson fee into the next month's tuition. Emergencies will only be restricted to illness and a doctor's note should be provided in order to get the lesson credit or be eligible for a make up lesson. If the make-up lessons and/or missed lesson credit offered exceeds 5 times in a school year, no subsequent make up lessons will be available and each missed lesson will be charged.
Mutually, if the teachers need to miss a lesson, they will inform the student or the parent(s) at least 24 hours in advance, unless there is an emergency. A make-up lesson will be arranged to the best of the teacher's ability, or the missed lesson will be credited to the following month's tuition.
